i love movies. movies have shaped me into who i am. i've learned life lessons, gained wisdom, and been inspired by countless films.
i often find myself visiting certain film scenes, reliving them, and picking up on new subtle details I hadn't noticed before. it's refreshing.
Gladiator, Directed by Ridley Scott
La La Land, Directed by Damien Chazelle
The Grand Budapest Hotel, Directed by Wes Anderson
Batman Begins, Directed by Christopher Nolan
i love discussing and reading other people's thoughts on these films and scenes, to see what others took away from it.
i usually find some popular clips from the film on youtube, and it's really enjoyable reading everyone's thoughts.
YouTube comments from the ending scene of Gladiator (Directed by Ridley Scott)
but there are times when certain clips aren't posted and i just wish i could share those feelings somehow, with the context.
i thought: what if streaming platforms integrated comments? you could specify certain timestamps and share all you wanted about any scene
another issue is that discussion is isolated and exists in vacuums. earlier this year, i saw this thread about no country for old men on X/twitter, and learned a ton of new stuff about the film.

i even shared a few quotes and was surprised by the amount of engagement it received. it turned into a beautiful discussion with others sharing other quotes and details with me.
